Information is not made available for unrelated commercial use or disclosed to unrelated third parties. It is used to administer accounts, submissions, peer review, publication, notifications and legitimate journal operations.
Access to editorial records is limited according to role and operational need. Editors, reviewers and support personnel must treat personal information and unpublished material as confidential.

Editorial confidentiality
Unpublished manuscripts, peer-review reports and confidential correspondence are available only to authorised participants in the editorial process.
Authors should remove unnecessary sensitive personal data from manuscripts and supplementary files. Reviewers and editors must not upload confidential submissions to external generative-AI services or other unauthorised systems.

Alerts and communications
Readers may choose to receive tables of contents, announcements or calls for papers. Reviewers may indicate whether they are available for invitations. These preferences are distinct from essential service messages about an active account, submission or review.
A user may ask the journal to correct account information or discontinue optional communications. Records that form part of the scholarly or audit trail may need to be retained for integrity, legal and operational reasons.
