An international, multidisciplinary journal examining global trade in its economic, political, legal, historical and moral dimensions.

01

Journal identity

The Journal of Global Trade, Ethics and Law is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal with electronic ISSN 2977-0025.

JGTEL provides a multidisciplinary forum for scholarship on global trade, trade economics, trade policy, trade ethics, trade history and international trade law.

Mission

The journal advances rigorous analysis of global markets and international commerce while asking how legal rules, political institutions and ethical expectations shape economic activity.

It also investigates the reverse relationship: how changing patterns of trade transform institutions, communities, rights, responsibilities and moral judgement.

JGTEL is committed to fair and ethical research, high academic standards, intellectual curiosity and the creation of knowledge that can support societies through change and progress.
